We are dedicated to guiding global leaders through transformative growth at the intersection of sacred depth and strategic clarity. With over 25 years of international experience, we serve as executive coaches, consultants, and chaplains, offering leadership development, soul care, and organizational consulting to individuals, couples, and teams.

Our Story

For more than 30 years, we have had the privilege of serving in nonprofit ministry, working with leaders and teams locally and around the world. Generous financial partners made that work possible, and along the way we were also the beneficiaries of something invaluable—people who invested deeply in our own development.

Through leadership training, executive coaching, graduate studies, and personal formation, we experienced firsthand how intentional development strengthens leaders and the people they serve. We also pursued professional certifications and additional training that expanded our ability to coach, consult, and equip others.
Over time we noticed a pattern. Many capable, well-intentioned leaders are placed into roles that demand more than their leadership development has prepared them for. Responsibility grows faster than leadership skills, leaving leaders to navigate complex challenges without the support they need.
We began asking an important question: What if we could help bridge that gap? From that vision, The Sacred & Strategic Initiative was born.
Our mission is to help leaders grow in both who they are and how they lead, strengthening the health of the teams, organizations, and communities they influence.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Sacred & Strategic relies on the generosity of donors who believe healthy leadership creates lasting impact. Their support provides nearly 80% of our operating budget, allowing us to make leadership development accessible to more leaders and organizations.

Meet Rich

Rich Street has spent more than a decade coaching leaders across global contexts, earning a reputation for the kind of strategic insight and grounded presence that leaders in complex roles rarely find in a single person. His global fluency is not incidental. Rich grew up as a military kid living overseas, has traveled to 60+ countries, and has lived in seven of them.

What clients consistently experience with Rich is movement. He has a particular gift for working with leaders who are stuck, whether in a decision, a transition, a pattern, or a season, and helping them find the clarity and traction they have not been able to locate on their own.
Rich holds the Professional Certified Coach distinction from the International Coaching Federation, one of the most rigorous credentialing standards in the field, and has worked extensively with executives navigating high-stakes transitions, organizational complexity, and leadership growth at the highest levels.
Rich works with leaders who need more than good advice. They need a thinking partner who can hold both the strategic and the human dimensions of leadership without collapsing one into the other.

Meet Kourtney

Kourtney Street brings a rare combination of executive experience and leadership development expertise to her work with leaders and organizations. Before founding The Sacred & Strategic Initiative, Kourtney served as a Vice President within a large ministry organization, leading high-level operations and culture and communications at scale.

It was during her own transition into that role that she first engaged seriously with executive coaching, and the impact of that work changed the trajectory of her career. She saw firsthand what becomes possible when a leader has the right support at the right level of responsibility.
That experience is at the center of everything she does now.
Kourtney is a certified executive coach through the Meta Performance Institute and works with leaders across ministry, nonprofit, sports, and for-profit sectors. She brings strategic clarity, deep listening, and a formation-oriented approach to every engagement, helping leaders grow not just in what they do, but in who they are becoming.
